Be the Change, Stop Bullying & Cyberbullying

Someone I Know Is Being Bullied

What You Can Do...

The biggest thing you can do for someone who is being bullied is to be an active upstander. By standing up for someone who is being bullied, you already send the biggest message you can - that they are not alone. Look below to find easy ways you can lend a helping hand to someone in need.

Be a Friend

Simply invite the person that's being or has been bullied to sit with you at lunch or invite them to hang out with you and your friends after school. Do anything you can to send the message that someone cares.

Tell a Trusted Adult

If you are uncomfortable with getting involved yourself, grab an adult to intervene.

Set a Good Example

Never bully others and NEVER encourage any bullying behavior.

Stand Up for Others

All it takes is for one person to stand up for the victim to change the situation at hand. By telling the aggressor that what they're doing isn't cool, sends a message to everyone that this type of behavior isn't acceptable.
