• Applicant must be currently enrolled as a full time student, either within his or her high school or through an approved college correspondence program.
• Applicant must currently possess senior status as determined by his or her school for the 2011-12 academic year.
• Applicant must possess a minimum cumulative GPA 2.50 on his or her most recent Report Card, which must be included with the application.
• Applicant must obtain a written recommendation from member of the faculty or staff at the school in which he or she is enrolled.  This recommendation is to serve as validation that the applicant words and actions promote an environment of acceptance and tolerance of differences within the school community.

• All applicants must complete the attached personal information form.
• Applicants must include the faculty/staff letter of recommendation detailed above.

• List all extracurricular activities participated in during high school, both within the school and outside.
• Describe ways you have proactively helped to lessen all forms of bullying within your school community.
• List your professional goals after graduation from college.
• Describe your personal mission statement as you move forward into adult life.
• Describe why you feel you are a deserving recipient for this scholarship.
• List any special circumstances you would like the Scholarship Committee to consider when reviewing your application OPTIONAL.

• All of the above materials must be RECEIVED no later than October 15th, 2011.
• Recipients and their schools will be notified no later than November 15th, 2011.
• Scholarships will be formally awarded the “Megan Meier Foundation Annual Banquet and Celebration” to be held on January 18th, 2012.  All recipients are expected to attend this event.
