Inspiring change for a better future since 2007.

Tina Meier founded the Megan Meier Foundation in 2007 after her daughter Megan took her own life following a cruel cyberbullying hoax by an adult neighbor posing as a fictitious boy on MySpace.

Since its inception, the foundation has grown into a global bullying and cyberbullying prevention foundation. Through education and intervention, we support and inspire actions to end bullying, cyberbullying and suicide.

“This is my life mission now. If even one child struggles with bullying, cyberbullying, or self-harm that is one too many. We must be there to help and support them.”

“You came to my school and very possibly could have saved my life. I was going through some tough times with bullying, but since your visit, I feel like I'm ok again. I'm doing better in school, getting ready to graduate and have a wonderful relationship with my family and friends. Thank you, you do such lifesaving and heart-touching work. I just wish someone like you had been there for your daughter like you were for me.”
